Connected Learners at KRSS
There are lots of activities and events happening this month at KRSS, including senior drama performances to students and sports events.
Clubs are thriving, with events such as the GSA Club’s movie evening, and the broad range of clubs for students to choose from, such as Crafts, Weightlifting, Art, Dungeons and Dragons, GSA, and more.
And congratulations to our senior girls and senior boys basketball teams for coming first place in the LVR tournament this month!
November News from KRSS
KRSS has been busy with many different things this month: preparing for the upcoming drama performance of “Merry Grinchmas” on Dec 1st-3rd; participating in many clubs and activities such as art, fitness, and Dungeons and Dragons; excelling in sports and qualifying for the provincials in cross country and volleyball; and representing student voice and planning student events via Student Council, the Anti-Racism working group session, Student Leadership Conference, and Student Trustee sessions.
Post-secondary School Information Fairs
KRSS has begun our post-secondary school information fairs. Alberta post-secondary schools set up information tables at KRSS on September 19th, and this will be followed by a BC post-secondary school fair the week of September 25th.
Thanks to our academic counsellor Mike Fischer for his work organizing this, and please watch for more information as the school year progresses!
