Chair Dawn Lang and Vice-Chair Julie Bremner were re-elected by acclamation to serve a second term in their leadership roles for the School District No. 8 (Kootenay Lake) Board of Education at the inaugural meeting of the board held in public on November 12.

The School District No. 8 (Kootenay Lake) Board of Education unanimously approved the annual budget for the 2024-2025 school year at its public meeting on the evening of May 14.

The KRSS Drama trip to London, England, took place this spring, with 21 students experiencing West End shows, workshops in Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, and visits to museums and other historical landmarks.
