A Midsummer Night's Dream Wraps to Great Reviews
The course of true love never did run smooth, but recent Drama Club performances of a Midsummer Night's Dream sure did.
Creston area families and the Creston community were treated to the comic absurdity and down-to-earth humour of the KRSS production of a Midsummer Night's Dream on Thursday, February 27, 28 and Friday, March 1.
"The students were incredible and the whole production was so well done," said Creston resident, SD8 employee and theatre enthusiast Laury Carriere.
Word on the street is that students nailed their Shakespearean dialogue and embodied the spirit of the Bard who above all, created theatre for the people.
Congratulations to the student cast, crew, Drama/Performing Arts teacher and director Brooke Comfort, and many thanks to the supportive community who came out to enjoy live theatre about a midsummer's night on a late-winter's evening.
