Welcome message from Leadership: 

Welcome to the 2022/23 school year. We are excited to kick off the year and see your smiling faces for the first time in 2 years. This year we welcome our graduating class of 2023 who have a year of excitement and transitions ahead as well as our class of 2027 who will be joining the Kootenay River Secondary community for the first time. Welcome. 

This year we can look forward to a full offering of Athletics, Arts, and Activities throughout the year in a variety of ways. We know successful students have a strong connection to the community and getting involved in these opportunities is an opportunity we encourage students to take advantage of. 

We will be starting the year with half day of school on Sept 6th. Please see the schedule below.
