Caring, Inclusive - and Athletic - Learners at KRSS

This past February had a lot going on, with students participating in events that brought us together as a school community.

Black History Month saw a great student-created installation of art, information, and video that students and staff could visit to learn more, all throughout the month.

KRSS Senior boys came first place in the Zones tournament that was held at KRSS on February 23rd and 24th, qualifying the team to play in the upcoming provincials. Congratulations!

To recognize Pink Shirt Day on February 28th, students organized activities such as morning announcements about the impact of bullying and “Sweet Words” sales - fundraising and kind words that are delivered to students.

What a great school community we are all part of, and thanks to KRSS staff and students who work (and play) to keep our school a caring and inclusive space for all.
